What's a shaxophile?

A shaxophile is one who loves Shakespeare. It's pretty easy to see where the term comes from: -ophile generally means one who loves a specific thing (like a bibliophile*), and Shax is just short for the man himself.

The term was coined by an unknown-to-me poster in the sadly defunct Fametracker forums. I adopted it because, being a newly created word, it was highly unlikely anyone else on forums or Blogger or what have you would have beaten me to the punch, thus reducing me to Shaxophile87 or such.

*Everyone knows other, more unsavoury words that end in -ophile, and I'm not going to list them here. No thank you.
